It all started with a daydream, Sara Wright envisioned a safe space where stylists could grow and flourish with opportunities and guidance. Her dream extended beyond the chairs and mirrors—it was about creating a space where guests and stylists could connect genuinely, and all felt cared for amongst the luxury services provided. In the midst of this vision, August & Omi was born.

August & Omi emerged during Sara's third trimester, a period not just marked by the anticipation of a new salon but also by the arrival of her third son. The inspiration for the salon's name came from the daughters she never had. The salon occupied a humble 400 square foot space, boasting just four booths.

As life would have it, the world faced unprecedented challenges during the Covid era. Rather than succumb to adversity, the August & Omi team discovered a newfound strength. In the face of uncertainty, they embraced the opportunity for growth. Taking a bold risk, the salon expanded, tripling its size to accommodate the growing family of stylists.

Today, August & Omi stands as a vibrant team of 11, not just colleagues but a tight-knit family. The salon exudes a warmth that goes beyond hairstyles; it's a place where guests feel the genuine care and attention that sets August & Omi apart.
